History tells us that Salsa in Cali city began as an entertainment factor for popular places in the city, places where their identity and cultural traits were defined. Little by little, this rhythm evolved reaching higher social places where it was potentiated, through the creation of salsa orchestras and sets.
The success of this rhythm does not stopped there. The internationalization of the rhythm reached Colombia with the creation of "Salsa World Championships", as well as exclusive places and events that promote its growth, such as the "Salsodromo" in Cali and its famous Fair.
